1. More on the new mp3 player developments
Earlier in the fall I mentioned some cool new mp3 player concepts that were in the early stages. Now you can buy them!
For example, Oakley's Thump sunglasses with the built-in mp3 player are out. Only $395-495! That's crazy, but it's not so bad when you consider that normal Oakleys already cost $100-300.

There's also a player out from Jens of Sweden that's plated in 24 karat gold - the $1100 price tag puts the Oakleys in their place!
Ok, so maybe you want a nice looking mp3 player that's a little more wallet friendly. The Digitalway MPIO FL300 is the answer. For just $130 (for the 256 mb version) you can get your hands on the winner of the coveted iF Product Design Award.

2. A better way to get a free iPod Mini.
Lately there's been some buzz about freeipods.com. My friends have signed-up for it, and I know a couple people that actually received a free one! Even wired.com says it works! There's real marketing behind it, it's not like a pyramid scheme.
So... I decided to give it a shot. I'll probably sign-up for the free Blockbuster trial and hopefully get 5 friends to do the same!

3. Didn't get what you wanted for Christmas?
Unfortunately, there are some bad gifts out there. I'm sure you were disappointed when what you thought was an iPod turned out to be a wool sweater or a fruitcake!
